Key Responsibilities
As a System Engineer – L2 at Wipro, you will:
- Handle technical support for OS issues, VPN, VDI, Outlook, Teams, Citrix, and security apps.
- Respond to calls and emails; resolve user complaints and document resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved tickets to higher-level engineers or domain experts.
- Create and update SOPs for new technical issues and fixes.
- Collaborate closely with the IT operations team to maintain SLA compliance.
- Identify support trends and communicate improvement ideas to supervisors.
Required Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 1 to 3 years of technical support/help desk experience.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Strong customer empathy and the ability to handle irate users professionally.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows troubleshooting
- Outlook / Microsoft Teams
- Citrix, VPN, and VDI environments
- Security applications
- Ability to document and report ticket logs and call trends.
